The Burlington BG’s has starting a new fundraising program that will continue throughout the year. To help earn back your fundraising fee, we are going to turn your everyday spending dollars into profit! At no extra cost or time to you!
The Fundraising Committee has launched a program called Shop and Support.
How does it work? Purchase Gift Cards through Shop and Support for your everyday expenses, such as groceries, gas, clothing, entertainment, etc. The cards are sold $ for $. The cards are accepted as cash at all participating retailers, with rebates being applied back to you. Buy only the cards you know you will use and you will never be stuck putting money out for something you will never use. You will earn a percentage from all of your purchases, from 1–15% depending on the store; this will be used as a way to earn back your initial yearly fundraising fee! There are no restrictions on these gift cards; they are accepted at any location where the store exists. A full list of participating stores can be found www.shopandsupport.ca . Anyone can order these cards, it’s not just for competitive families.
There is already an account set up online for Burlington B.G.’s. Each family can set up their own individual account under Burlington B.G.’s. Its as easy as following the link, at top right.

Select: Support A Cause Now (this is your homepage, bookmark it)
Select: Join Now
Fill in your 1. Registration Information
2. Contact Information
3. Account Information group id # 100564197 (Burlington BGs)
Click register
Competitive families: parent/guardian button, fill in your child's name
You can now Log In:
You will receive a confirmation email to activate your account once you are registered.
Go to www.shopandsupport.ca
Select support a cause
log in: enter the email you registered and your password
(You will see your name, club name and order/delivery dates)
How to order?: Once logged in, search gift cards
Find the cards you would like to order, choose the $ amount and quantity
Add to cart
The left side shows the cards you have chosen to purchase
The right side shows the percentage you will earn
Once finished choosing your cards, double check to make sure they are correct
Click cart details in the box on the left and than click secure check out
Ship to Burlington BGs (Free ship to Group so there is only one shipping fee)
Choose method of payment ( see note below)
Click complete order and your done!
* Orders can also be placed manually through Stacy: joel_joncas@sympatico.ca (payment must be received before order can be placed, make cheques payable to Burlington BG's, receipt issued for cash payments)

We do not suggest credit card payments as there is a 2% fee (which defeats the purpose of earning a % back).
Strongly suggest online/phone banking, preauthorized payment, cash or Blitz payment (make cheque payable to Burlington BGs)
Shop and Support guarantees that your financial information, as well as your internet transactions, will be secure at all times.
Orders that are placed by noon Thursdays will be delivered on Wednesdays. Stacy Joncas, Jelisa’s mom, will be at the gym Thursday evenings from 4:30-6:30 and Sunday between 11:30-1:30 to distribute the cards. Anyone who isn’t at the gym those days can let me know and I will make arrangements for someone from the fundraising committee to issue the cards.
